The Arts
The Arts are an integral part of our lives. They are a powerful means through which to communicate personal values and beliefs, ideas and creativity.
At Beechworth Secondary College students are offered the chance to study both visual and performing arts. The College offers music, drama, art and visual communication design from Year 7 to 10 and through to VCE.
Excursions and trips to Performances, Galleries, Studios, Museums and places of Cultural significance are an integral compulsory component in the study of the Arts. BSC are also in partnership with Arts Centre, Melbourne.
Instrumental Music, group or private tuition is available for students wishing to learn an instrument or to participate in a band.
Regular performances are held during lunchtimes and at school assemblies and presentation nights.
